1. Overview
At MoGreen & Co, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines your rights and our processes for returns, refunds, and exchanges.
Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (CGA).
2. Consumer Rights (Important)
Under the CGA, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund if a product:
- Is faulty or defective
- Is not as described
- Is not fit for its intended purpose
If a failure is major, you may choose a refund or replacement.
If a failure is minor, we may choose to repair or replace the item.
3. Change of Mind Returns
As we operate a local partner supply model, we generally do not accept returns for change of mind.
However, we may consider returns at our discretion if:
- The item is unused, unopened, and in original condition
- The request is made within 7 days of delivery
If approved:
- Return shipping costs are your responsibility
- A restocking or handling fee may apply
- Shipping fees are non‑refundable
4. Damaged or Faulty Items
If your item arrives damaged or faulty:
You must:
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order
- Provide your order number and clear photos of the issue
We will assess the issue and provide one of the following:
- Replacement item
- Repair (where applicable)
- Full or partial refund
This will be handled in accordance with the CGA.
5. Incorrect Items
If you receive the wrong item:
- Notify us within 7 days of delivery
- We will arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you
6. Return Process
To request a return, email:

Include:
- Order number
- Description of the issue
- Photos (if faulty or damaged)
If a return is approved:
- We will provide return instructions
- Items must not be sent back without approval
7. Refunds
Where a refund is approved:
- Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
- Processing may take 3–10 business days depending on your bank or provider
Shipping charges are:
- Non‑refundable, unless required under the CGA
8. Return Shipping Costs
- Faulty, damaged, or incorrect items → We cover return costs
- Change of mind → You cover return shipping costs
9. Donations
As part of our school fundraising donation programme:
- Donations are made by MoGreen & Co, not charged to you
- Returns or refunds may affect the associated donation amount
- We reserve the right to adjust or withhold donations relating to refunded orders
All donation representations comply with the Fair Trading Act 1986.
10. Items Not Eligible for Return
We do not accept returns for:
- Personal use or hygiene items (if opened), where applicable
- Items not in original condition (unless faulty)
- Products returned without approval
11. Local Supply & Fulfilment
We aim to supply products from within New Zealand wherever possible, through our local partner network.
As a result:
- Return processes may vary slightly depending on the supplier
- We will always coordinate the process on your behalf

We may update this policy at any time. Changes take effect once published on our website.
